 About.com Government. This "GuideSite" provides links to a variety of information about contracting with government agencies.  Includes an index to government resources, news, articles, links to industry service providers, etc.

Fedmarket Primer: "Doing Business with Government."  This online series of articles will provide you with an introduction to the process of selling to government agencies.  (Under development.)

GovCon.  This site functions as Web-based marketplace for industry professionals to buy and sell products and services.  It also provides industry news, business-to-business services, tools for government contractors, and a download library.
  

 o Offices of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization.  Many agencies maintain a small business office, often called the "Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization" (OSDBU), which serves as a central point of contact for small business information.  If there is no OSDBU within an agency, there may be a link on the agency's acquisition webpage to information for small businesses.  Following are links to a selection of major OSDBUs and other Federal agency small business websites.
 
o Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTACs).  PTACs are part of a Congressionally authorized initiative to assist businesses who are seeking to market their goods and/or services to federal, state, and local governments. PTACs are made up of a national network of state and local governments, private non-profits, and other economic organizations and enterprises. Visit this site to locate the PTAC nearest you.
 
 o SBA Steps to Accessing Contracts and Subcontracts.  The SBA Small Business Classroom offers a beginner's course about the Federal Procurement Process.  Included in this course is an overview of programs to assist small businesses.  You can also check out other SBA online courses on this site. Business.gov. This is an E-Government initiative to provide better customer service for small businesses interacting with the Federal Government. This website is managed by the U.S. Small Business Administration in partnership with several government entities. The site's goal is to provide a one-stop, common access point for Federal Government services and information needed to assist with starting, running, and growing a business.
