EXECUTIVE ORDERS :: Executive orders are generally issued by the president to interpret, implement, or give administrative effect to a provision of the Constitution, some law or treaty.  Executive orders have the effect of law.  This page links to selected executive orders (1945-present) of interest to small businesses in the federal procurement sector.   Refer to the NARA Disposition Tables for amendments and current status information (1953-present).
