GSA PROGRAMS :: As a major source of equipment, supplies and logistical services to other Federal agencies, the General Services Administration offers significant entry and growth opportunities for small businesses.  Featured below are links to several programs that GSA has in place to assist small businesses directly and indirectly.  You may contact us for more information or sign up for our free newsletter updates.

Federal Supply Service (FSS) Program.  This is the primary mechanism used by GSA to procure a wide range of  commercial products and services for Federal agencies.  Online transactions are now possible under the FSS through GSA Advantage! and GSA Advantage! e-Buy.  Also provides telephone and other support to vendors through the Vendor Support Center.

Federal Technology Service (FTS).  Provides information technology and network services solutions to government agencies.  Administers several programs that create significant contracting and subcontracting opportunities for small businesses.  Key programs include the FAST program, the CONTACT program, and the ANSWER program.  Link also to information about the IT Solutions Shop below.

IT Solutions Shop.  To accommodate government procurement through its programs, GSA IT-Solutions has developed an on-line, web-based purchase order system called IT-Solutions Shop (ITSS). The goal is to provide clients, contractors, and individuals from the GSA with a tool for sharing information and working simultaneously on-line in an integrated Internet environment.

Partnering with Businesses Program.  Encourages contractors with environmentally-friendly products and services to apply for participation on the Federal Supply Service (FSS) schedule.  For more information, visit GSA's Environmental Programs web site.

Public Buildings Service (PBS).  Division under GSA responsible for developing, leasing, and managing properties for use by government employees on a worldwide basis.  Administers several programs that offer significant contracting and subcontracting opportunities for small businesses.  Programs include the PBS Leasing Program and the Architecture and Construction Program.

Regional Small Business Centers.  Colloquially referred to as the "front door" to GSA procurement opportunities.  Each center is staffed with specialists to assist small business owners in accessing opportunities at GSA.
